Grades 10-12: Learning to Excel While Preparing for College
Within one semester, LTL-trained students make these gains
- History and Science: Achieve B or better on tests in history and science; attain at least 30% higher scores than comparable non-LTL students on state-wide tests in these subject-matter areas.
- Math: Learn how to “play” with math concepts. Students learn to create and solve their own math problems and translate all their math into words – so math becomes a challenging game, not abstract symbols and formulas.
- English Language Arts: Write well-constructed paragraphs with 80% correct grammatical usage.
